VISUAL AND CRITICAL STUDIES

I've been told that no man is an island but sometimes I wish I were an island. I used to work for Walt Disney Studios but at some point during my trajectory at Walt Disney Studios I realized my working there wasn't actually a fact and that I've never actually worked at Walt Disney Studios so then I became a graphic designer and now I am studying Visual Culture with a capital C and a capital V and writing about why graphic design is not a fact either. I would put my CV here but part of me feels like a patterned background image of a strange white girl holding a plush walrus will do for now. Soon I will own the rights to some fancy website which may or may not be as inconsequential as a man sitting on some island without the literature or Western academic anthropology to prove that either that man nor his island actually exist.
