VISUAL AND CRITICAL STUDIES

at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago

Background:

Received my Bachelors in English and German with a minor in Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. There, I produced a research paper entitled Cultural Disjuncture in the European Union: a Narrative Approach. I also had the opportunity to create a few video projects and work of some cultural theory which I won't bore you with. Following school, I worked to initiate a local Alternative Press called Second Supper. I wrote, edited, and designed there for two years before coming to Chicago for the Visual and Critical Studies program. Since coming to SAIC, I've done a video project on memory called Agape's Memory. I also completed a visual narrative project which took the form of a self-published booklet. The page design of which can be found here.

Come back soon, as I keep working, I'll keep adding/updating!
